Love in a Cemetery
Tonight the Otis Public Practice Studio opens to the public "Love in a Cemetery," a working visual arts exhibit that combines the efforts of artists, curators, graduate students and community organizations to turn the 18th Street Art Center into a visual arts learning laboratory. The gallery will become not only a place to observe but a space that encourages civic engagement, experimentation, presentation and discourse. Swing by tonight for the opening reception, which begins at 7 p.m.

David Lynch Anthology
Hit Book Soup tonight at 7 p.m. for a reading and book signing by Richard A. Barney, author of David Lynch: Interviews, a book in which Lynch's most candid interviews are assembled. We're hoping Barney will be able to clue us in on exactly what happened to Special Agent Dale Cooper in Pittsburgh. And what the hell is garmonbozia?

ThreeDayRule.com Single Mingle
If Match and EHarmony are a little 2000-and-late for you, ThreeDayRule.com, an interactive dating site for women, may be the one to try this decade. Through this service, women can discover their "type" and the places in L.A. that type frequents, as well as exchange advice with single men. Tonight's event is at Dominick's in West Hollywood, and is free for both men and women to attend. All are encouraged to bring friends.
