For one night only, two juggernauts join together for the ultimate music & movie mixtape. To celebrate the release of DJ/MC/producer/psychedelic-master Edan's latest mixtape Echo Party, Stones Throw Records & Cinefamily unite for Echo Party, the... party! With Edan on the decks, Tom Maharajah (the evil genius behind the Cinefamily's "Mondo..." series) on the eyes, and a special appearance by hip-hop historian Ricky Powell, your mind will be so mashed you'll need a headspin just to start putting it back together again. Bollywood meets breakdancing meets bitchin' beats in this tantalizing sample.

And the blitzkrieg continues! Sunset at midnight - poetic. Dahmer vs. Gacy - poor taste. With their powers combined, the American Cinematheque saves humanity with the ultimate Golden Globe subtitular spectacular! The Aero hosts 2009 nominees Broken Embraces (Spain) & The Maid (Chile), while the Egyptian features 2008 nominee Baader Meinhof Complex for a whopping three nights, as well as four of the 2009-nominated directors (sadly sans Pedro Almodovar) for a totally free, totally awesome discussion panel. Elsewhere, the devious duo of New Beverly & Stuart Gordon unleash 2010's first guestival (and apparently, my first portmanteau) upon the world, while Insomniac Cinema & Mondo Fridays present a devilish dilemma: Cry Baby or Sly, Baby? And what of Hedwig shadowcast/sing-a-long Rainbow Carnage?

Full list appears below. See you at the movies!
