Well hello there, and welcome back to the world of the working. One would say 'living', but are you really living these days? Debatable. You've been looking for the next calendar holiday that your office actually observes, haven't you? Well unless you decide to call one in for MLK day, things are looking pretty bleak when it comes to time off.
So why not maximize the time you DO get with some comedy? There's a great line up of shows this week, from Pasadena to Hollywood to Irvine. If you're wondering why there aren't multiple options listed for each night, don't worry - we'll get back on track next week. In the meantime, your intrepid comedy guru is recovering from a cross-country roadtrip. And, as always, he's looking for show suggestions, should you feel the need to hype via email.

New Harold Teams, 8p UCB. It’s the first night for new UCB harold teams, which is a big deal if you know what deals are. Tix are currently out of reach, but check back day of - or just get there early for a spot on the waitlist. It WILL be the right thing to do.

iO West Mainstage Cagematch, 11:30p iO West. There’s plenty of history with this cagematch show, as a number of known teams started here. Sure, it’s late, but it’s also free - and iO West has a bar!

Jo Koy, 10:30p Ice House. Jo has been doing big weekend stints all over time for a couple of months now, so I’d imagine his stuff is even more honed than the last time you saw him. And that’s saying something, considering how tight his material is already.
