LAPD Deems Suicide in Northridge Metrolink Incident

LAPD officials announced today that yesterday's incident in which a Metrolink train killed a man on the tracks was suicide. "Detectives say the man laid down on his stomach in front of a west bound Metrolink train near Balboa and Roscoe Boulevards around 1:50 p.m.," said an advisory. No one else was hurt in the incident. The man's identity is being withheld until a family member is notified.
