Photos & Map: Where to Watch Rose Parade Float Decorating

As mentioned earlier, there are various activities preceding the Tournament of Roses on Friday. If you're kicking around on your holiday break doing nothing, checking out float decoration is a good idea (map of locations is below).

There are three locations where you can check out floats getting decorated through Thursday, plus one location for car decorating.

To see float decoration, admission is $7 for two visits. It's free for children five and under. Festivities began this morning at 9 a.m. and last through 5 p.m. Tomorrow, you can visit from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

With the admission, you can also see decorating of the official vehicles for Rose Parade President, Grand Marshal, 2009 Hall of Fame Inductees and Mayor of Pasadena. That's located at the Rose Bowl Stadium Lot I Tent and is open from through 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.
