Help A Mother Out: Bring Diapers to the Treehouse this Sunday

Help a Mother Out (HAMO) has a simple mission: to get diapers to mothers in need.

According to the National Center on Family Homelessness, 2.2 million children in California live in poverty. Many of these families rely on food stamps to pay for food, but food stamps won’t pay for diapers. Enter HAMO, an organization that launches in Los Angeles on Sunday. That day HAMO will host an indoor play-date with drinks and snacks at The Treehouse Social Club in Beverly Hills, an indoor playground featuring a giant treehouse. Kim Tracy Prince, producer and well-known blogger with the LA Moms Blog, is the HAMO Los Angeles Chapter Manager.

The Help a Mother Out: Holiday Playdate is on December 13, 2009 from 3-6pm. The Treehouse Social Club is located at 426 South Robertson Boulevard. Admission to the event is at least one pack of disposable diapers, any size.
