Man, Largo is outstanding this week, with totally amazing shows back to back to back to back. So many, in fact, they couldn't all be listed here. But that's OK, because there's a hefty helping of other great shows all over town that should fill in this lazy gap between Thanksgiving and Christmas / Hanukkah for you quite nicely. If you've got a show you're sneaking off to see, why not spread the holiday cheer with the other great LAist readers? Hit me with an email here and we'll talk. FOREVER.

MONDAY 12/7

What’s Up, Tiger Lily?, 8p Hollywood Studio Bar n Grill. Marc Maron, Jon Daly, and Jeff Klinger - to name a few.

3-on-3 Tournament, 9:30p UCB. The 3-on-3 improv tournament kicks off at 8 with another slew of teams rounding things out at 9:30. Help vote on a couple of teams from the 9:30 slot to compete in the semi-finals.

TUESDAY 12/8

Sponsored message

Al Madrigal, 8p Irvine Improv. Longtime standup Madrigal is down in the OC.

Billy The Mime, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Here’s a question: does Billy knock before he enters a room, or just pantomime it? If not, it would be awful to be his roommate.

WEDNESDAY 12/9

Mortified, 8p King King. Man, this show is great, and this month is the Big Gay Holiday Show. Not to be missed.

Good for the Jews, 8:30p Largo. The well-acclaimed comedy duo stops in LA on their Putting the Ha! In Hannukah tour, alongside Marc Maron.

THURSDAY 12/10

J. Michael Feldman Made It!, 8p Comedy Central Stage. A one man show with a musical bent about - you guessed it, making it in the biz.

Sponsored message

Huebel & Scheer: Rockettes Christmas, 9p Largo. Let the holiday shows commence, with Rob and Paul over at Largo making insanity the norm.

FRIDAY 12/11

Jimmy Pardo, 8p Improv. Pardo of the Never Not Funny podcast doing some great stand up.

Stand-Up Dads, 9p Largo. Greg Behrendt, Dana Gould, Patton Oswalt and others raise money for Mychal’s Learning Place, by dong some amazing stand up.

SATURDAY 12/12

Jim Short, 7p Comedy & Magic Club. Stand up out by the sea.

Husbands and Pimps, 8p iO West. When guys play girls on stage, the voice is always way too high and the arms are seriously awkward. But when girls play guys? Expect exactly what you read: pimps and husbands.
