On January 6th, the final nine episodes of FX's "Nip/Tuck" will begin airing. Guest stars in those episodes will include, and these are perfect: Melanie Griffith, Joan Rivers, Frances Conroy, Donna Mills and Joan Van Ark.

Check out the timelapse video at the end of this post of the NYC set build out of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire". The series is in production now and will air later in 2010. Starring will be Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Kelly Macdonald, Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Michael Kenneth Williams, Dabney Coleman and Gretchen Mol, among others.

Simon Cowell's plan to bring his "X Factor" talent show to Las Vegas as a pay-per-view online-only venture will either revolutionize web-based TV broadcasting or will be a complete failure. We think Cowell's goal of hundreds of millions of paying viewers is a little far-fetched and if he needs hundreds of millions of paying viewers he's going to be disappointed.
