The UC Regents are meeting this week to discuss the 2010-11 budget, and are expected to approve a plan to request $913 million in funding from the state to recoup budget losses from this year; a 32% tuition increase, however, is also on the table. As the meetings and protests continue, expect traffic delays near and around the UCLA campus in Westwood.
Update 11:34 a.m. Reports from the scene indicate the crowd is rowdy and are throwing sticks and bottles, possibly at campus police.
