Despite a recent doctor's visit about lower abdomen pain, the Medina's had no idea she was pregnant, according to the San Gabriel Tribune. The doctor apparently didn't either and said she probably pulled a muscle.
Luckily, the six-pound, five-ounce baby girl was born healthy, albeit premature at 35 weeks, at Fontana Medical Center.
It seems Medina's gastric bypass surgery from over a year ago made her more fertile. The couple had been trying to have a baby for years with no luck. The surgery caused her to lose 70 pounds, but she began to regain weight. That was expected to a degree, but not the baby part. About two weeks ago, she felt something in her stomach move, but rubbed it off as part of a digestive problem.

For more *headdesk* worthy stories, there's a show (on TLC maybe?) called "I didn't know I was pregnant." I promised myself if I could get through one episode without wanting to stab my eyes out, I could have a peanut butter cup. I'm still waiting for my peanut butter cup.
If you hurry, you can still get Reese's for half-price!
anyone else notice that this only happens to overweight people?

RyZiggity, how many did 'Homegirl' have?
'The couple had been trying to have a baby for years with no luck.'
I'd like to believe that this is their first.
