It may be a temporary move from NYC, but the frontman of The Strokes is loving our city. He tells the New York Times: “It’s fun; I won’t lie. L.A.’s kind of, like, seven really cool towns. It’s so laid-back. If you go in the right spot, you can walk around, and you don’t need a car. It’s a lot easier to eat healthy. And the weather!” (via torrmoz)

Now if we can get that transit funding perhaps we can connect those 7 really cool towns together
How nice to see a New Yorker come to LA and really get LA, instead of just whining about how it's not New York.
Welcome to LA, Mr. Casablancas. Good to have you here.
With that one quote, I went from severely loathing this guy to greatly appreciating him.
I heard he's building a house identical to Tom Petty's and pretending it was his idea.
And I'm guessing Kanye West will be the self-appointed project manager.
