UCLA officials are reporting that the 20-year-old female student who was stabbed and slashed earlier this month was released from the hospital on Sunday. The unidentified junior biochemistry major was said to be in "good condition."

On October 8th, Damon Thompson allegedly took a knife and stabbed her five times and slashed her throat during a class lab. He pleaded not guilty at a October 13th hearing where he was charged with attempted premeditated murder causing great bodily injury and personal use of a knife. His next court appearance is on Tuesday.
