New Colloquialism? Driving, Talking on Cell Phone = 'Pulling a Shriver'

TMZ caught pop-singer Brandy yesterday illegally using her cell phone while driving. And then they called it pulling a Shriver, thanks to Califonia's First Lady who last week was caught a number of times breaking the law her hubby signed into law.

Shriver apologized, but this may be her legacy, at least in pop culture. We'll see if this phrase actually catches on (Maria should truly be noted for her work on The Women's Conference).

Back to Brandy. TMZ slaps her on the wrist noting that three years ago, she killed a driver on the 405 Freeway in December 2006. That case was just settled a few months ago.

Brandy continues to have car issues. This is her yesterday in L.A. -- illegally talking on a handheld cell phone while driving -- nearly three years after causing a fatal car crash on an L.A. Freeway.

Hey wait, Brandy killed someone from causing a multi-vehicle accident from driving recklessly in 2006. She got off with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, but now she flaunts driving with the phone up to her head? There is something just wrong about that.

Here's a couple of links that talk about it:

...'Pulling a Shriver'...
yup. I like it.

Oh for fucks sake...

I absolutely hate wearing my dorky bluetooth but it's the law.

These celebrity dingbats need to seriously get with the program.
