Police Warn Against Lighting Up at Cypress Hill Smokeout

cypress-hill-smokeout.png This weekend is the big two-day music festival and cannabis expo at the San Manuel Amphitheater and police are ready to make arrests. Cypress Hills, Slipnot, Deftones among many other bands are playing alongside the Cannibus Cup, Medical Marijuana Expo and 4:20 Movie Night. In a statement, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department warns against any recreational use of the drug. "Further, there is no provision in the law for the use of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle, whether someone possesses a doctor's recommendation for the drug or not."

Love how they care about this, but leave Burning Man-type festivals alone. Can we say racial profiling?

yes. especially out in san bernadino. it's like this concert alone is the ONLY show that folks will "light up" at. ridiculous. boo.

If the sheriff's department had any sense, they'd forget the arrests and set up a Hostess cupcake booth and raise funds for their pet programs.

1 - Burning Man doesn't take place in CA, our sherrif's dept. can't be blamed for not being there.

2 - Put your stupid race card away. Everything about the way this event is being marketed is just asking for it.
