Breaking Galaxy News: Donovan Wins Player of the Year & Decade

102009amsoccer.jpg Landon Donovan, star forward for the L.A. Galaxy and U.S. Men's National Team, has been named 2009 Honda Player of the Year for his achievements with the U.S. Men's National Team. It is the sixth time the speedy forward has won the award after first earning it in 2002.

It was further announced that his dominance throughout these years has also earned him a second award: Honda Player of Decade.
