When is a week not a week? when it's two weeks. Err, make that three weeks. dineLA Restaurant Week is being extended Oct.18-23! The list of participating restaurants has also been reconfigured. It is much more readable now, and you are able to see which restaurants are offering lunch without having to click on their page.

Sadly, quite a few restaurants have dropped out of the additional week, such as Morels, The Bluewater Grill, and The Whale and Ale. But there are still some fantastic restaurants on the list -- check the list to see if your favorites are still there!

[Update 10/18 the site has been returned to its original layout. The Whale and Ale, Bluefish Grill and Morels are all on the re-revised list]

the link is dead. 404 not found.

Their website has been up and down all day. The link is good.

For this season of DineLA, I did Craft and Royal/T.

Craft
Craft was awful. The food came out cold (sirloin was cold to the touch), then when we were brought new food, we were scolded by the manager who said, "now the food doesn't retain heat so you need to plate it right away." Ruined the experience. I think our lovely server was embarrassed. We were blamed for the food being cold - we plated everything quickly the first and second time. I will never go back there. The food was so-so.

Royal/T
Food was amazing. Simple and delicous, left feeling so warm and full. Had the blooming jasmine tea and classic Milk Royal Tea, so yummy and the servers were so much fun. It was like dining in a gallery that loves Hello Kitty. I will go back again and again...including for Hello Kitty's birthday in November.
