MUSIC
Pearl Jam, the grunge pioneers, are back in support of their new studio production Backspacer and this time around, they've teamed up with Ben Harper and Relentless 7. Featuring cuts from their current and previous releases, it is sure to be entertaining. Tonight's show is their last of this L.A. series. Starts at 7:15 at the Gibson Amphitheater.

CLASSICAL
For those that were left itching for some more classical music after watching Gustavo Dudamel's concert last Saturday, don't overlook the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra to get a fix. You can even get the "Bowl" experience while checking them out, only not the one in Hollywood, but instead, the Canoga Park Bowl. Tonight's program features James Domine and the Symphomaniacs. The FREE concert starts at 8:15.

LEARN
Often times unnoticed, the greater L.A. area is a treasure trove of various architectural styles. Downtown is the proud home of Frank Ghery's Disney Concert Hall. Twenty minutes north, in Pasadena, one finds the Charles and Henry Greene masterpiece, The Gamble House. Pick any other direction and one is likely to find numerous other gems and styles, just as diverse as the city itself. If you want to learn a bit more about all the great architecture around us, take advantage of the Architecture Month festivities such as tonight's lecture by PATTERNS co-principal Marcelo Spina at the William M. Keck Lecture Hall at Sci-Arc. Starts at 7 PM.

ART
Today and tomorrow are the final remaining days to check out Emilia Garcia and Jose Lozano's exhibition at the ChimMaya Gallery. Garcia's work is a reflection of her views on the different experiences, phases and emotions in one's life. In contrast, Lozano's works are images of the La Brea Metro Exposition Station, featuring images of loteria cards within the context of the Metro experience. Gallery is open from 10 to 7 and don't forget that tomorrow is the last day.
