World's Pickiest Eater
If you're the type of parent who has to slip squash purées à la Jessica Seinfeld into your kid's mac n' cheese, swing by Westfield Topanga today and enter them in the KCRW's World's Pickiest Eater contest. You and your child will sample creations prepared by Good Food host and Angeli Caffe Chef Evan Kleiman, who dares to find something your child will love. Event runs from 2 - 4 p.m.

Two Fabulous Readings at Book Soup
Book Soup FTW with yet another Saturday of readings that pique our interest. First up, Michelle Maisto serves up The Gastronomy of Marriage: A Memoir of Food and Love, her memoir which explores how courtship evolves to commitment over the dinner table, and her struggle to define the role of a modern wife. Later, Susan Anderson and Robert Greene present High Glitz: The Extravagant World of Child Beauty Pageants, a window into what it takes to be a child pageant queen, and how our culture's obsession with youth and beauty is intertwined. First reading at 2 p.m., the second at 7.
