Emmy Awards Roll in on Downtown L.A.

Welcome to Emmys day! Amid the high heat, red carpet arrivals are underway right now at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in downtown. Grab a drink (preferably the official drink of the day) and enjoy the live arrivals coverage on KTLA right now with Carrie Ann Inaba & Chris Harrison, who we interviewed yesterday.

Later at 8 p.m., CBS will air the show, which is unfortunately a pre-recorded for us on the West Coast (boo). Neil Patrick Harris, who happens to be co-producing an interactive threatre show on Hollywood Boulevard this month, is this year's master of ceremonies.

LAist's TV Editor, Tom Lewis, is working the red carpet right now, as he has been all week, starting with the VMA's in New York City last Sunday and more recently at events around town.

Keep tabs of your picks and winners by downloading and printing the official ballot from the Emmy Awards here.

Some shows have succesfully defended their titles last sunday, on the recently concluded Emmy Awards 2009. I'm sure many of you would like to know who the Emmy Winners 2009 were. Here are some the Emmy Winners 2009 – Outstanding comedy was 30 Rock (again), Outstanding Drama was Mad Men (again), Lead Actor for Drama was Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Lead Actress was Glenn Close (Damages), Lead Actor in a Comedy was Alec Baldwin (30 Rock). Lead Actress in a Comedy was the big upset of the Emmy Winners list, as it was Toni Collette, for United States of Tara and NOT Tina Fey. Now you don't have to get a small personal loan to get the Emmy Winners 2009.
