The best seat in the house for a Hollywood stroking session like tonight's Emmy Awards is probably in front of your television set (though LAist's intrepid TV Junkie, Tom Lewis, may argue he's got the best spot since he's on the Red Carpet). If you're playing the home version of tonight's TV big event, there are two things you don't want to forget: Your booze and your ballot, so you can keep lubricated and score at the same time.

For the booze part, we'll remind you that if you're aiming for authenticity, the Emmy attendees will be guzzling the official cocktail of the evening, which is the aptly named EMMY.

The EMMY
1 1/2 oz Grey Goose L'Orange
1/2 oz Licor 43*
1 1/2 oz fresh orange juice with pulp
Splash of grenadine

Pour all ingredients into shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Garnish wih three green seedless grapes on a skewer.
*Licor 43 is a Spanish liqueur based on citrus and vanilla flavors. Check BevMo or your favorite alcohol importer.

To keep tabs of your picks and actual winners (oh, pardon us...nominees; people don't win, the "award goes to" them, correct?) you can download and print the official ballot from the Emmy Awards here.
