Police Need Help in West LA Apartment Robbery Caught on Tape

wlarobbsusps.jpg It appears these two have struck apartments in Van Nuys and in North Hollywood and now West Los Angeles, where they were caught on tape.

On August 13, at around 4 p.m., the two suspects entered an apartment building located in the 1600 block of Barry Avenue in West Los Angeles. Once inside the complex they allegedly forced their way into the recreation room, removed a television and fled the location, according to the LAPD, which is asking the public's help in IDing them.

The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic or White, 18 to 22 years of age, dark hair and stocky build. He was also described as having a mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a blue shirt with a white design, dark pants and white sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male White, 18 to 20 years of age, with short or shaven brown hair, and thin build. He was also described as wearing a dark-colored beanie with a yellow design, a horizontal dark and white striped shirt and tan pants.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call LAPD West Los Angeles Burglary Detectives Guevara or White at (310) 444-1522. After-hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to a 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 or by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning the message with the letters LAPD. Tipsters may also submit information on the LAPD website, www.lapdonline.org. All tips will remain anonymous.
