LAist Goes Shopping: Vintage Eyewear at Hotel De Ville

LAist went shopping at Hotel De Ville Vintage Eyewear to check out their unique frames and vintage deadstock. Even in the current economy, people who need eyeglasses want to find something that they love. Vintage deadstock refers to pieces that have never been worn. This virtually guarantees the customer that they won't be wearing the same frames as everyone else. The sunglasses selection is top notch too.

Hotel De Ville operate three distinct optical boutiques. One on Rosewood off of Fairfax, one on Beverly Blvd, and one on Hollywood Blvd in Loz Feliz. In addition their Note de l'Hotel blog shares fun photos of celebrities showing off their eyewear style.

The inventory at Hotel De Ville, that also includes some European imports, is so fantastic that it will make people who don't need glasses feel tempted to order a pair.

This is both awesome and dangerous to know.

Speaking of vintage deadstock...if any ladies are interested in a pair of never worn pink cat eye fades, I happen to have a pair I'm keen to unload. I got 'em online a couple of years ago and, in tragic twist of fate, they look awful on me. But they are PAINFULLY cute and need to be rocked!
