Miller, who was blurred out in the video first shown by KCAL9 on Tuesday night, said he does not recall the conversation. However, the LA Times finds that his office requested a copy of the tape shortly after the hearing.
Bass' office said it was inappropriate for Miller to sit on the committee investigating Duvall. Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher (R-San Diego) has replaced him.
Duvall resigned Wednesday, but denies admitting to an affair. As a sidebar to Miller, there is also a movement afoot to recall him.

I was wondering when they were going to get around to this guy.
Well, that answers my question about the other half of the Duvall conversation. However, the whole scandal makes me think that Duvall wouldn't have been so cavalier in discussing his exploits unless there was already a culture of acceptance/participation in this sort of thing in Sacramento.
Politician affairs are a somewhat open secret, family values platform or not. But the lobbyist thing, and wondering if that's now considered acceptable by your peers, is what's particularly upsetting about this situation.
