Trent Reznor has fallen ill, forcing Nine Inch Nails' Wave Goodbye tour to be put on hold. Reznor said he had a cold during last night's concert at the Palladium, which included an appearance by Gary Numan joining NIN on Numan's "Cars." Soon after the show ended the band released the following message on its website:

We're very sorry to announce that Trent is ill, and on his doctor's orders we will not be able to perform tonight's show at the Henry Fonda Theater. This is the only information we have at this time, we're posting this early announcement as a convenience for those of you who had plans to attend. Reimbursement details will be posted as soon as we figure them out; likely within the next 24 hours. We wish this wasn't necessary and we're very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
Tonight's concert at the Fonda was the second of four L.A. dates scheduled at the end Reznor's touring career. No word on the status of the 9/5 Wiltern and 9/6 Echoplex shows.

Terrible news about the cancellation of tonight's show. Hopefully he is feeling better for the Wiltern and Echoplex.

Last night was AMAZING. The Downward Spiral in it's entirety and Gary Numan. DAMN!
