• Chicagoist saw an argument break out over the aesthetics of a new City-commissioned tile mural that went up on the city's North Side.
• Gothamist found out the Parks Department busted Russian women for swimming 30-45 minutes after the beaches close at 6 p.m., threatening to take them to jail. One of the women later said, "We came to the U.S. to escape the Communism regime, the regime when every step is watched and controlled by the government."
