Video: Jack White's Dead Weather Plays at his Downtown Pop-Up Store

Treat Me Like Your Mother - The Dead Weather - Third Man Records, LA 8/26/09 | Video by hairmetal84

Wednesday was day one of Third Man Records and Novelties, a downtown three-day-long pop-up store from Jack White in promotion of Horehound, the latest album from his band The Dead Weather.

More than 500 people packed the Regent Theatre for the free afternoon six-song show, reported blogdowntown.

A second pop-up store, which was "literally" 10 yards away and only open today, also was host to a one-song show for about 40 people packed into a small room with 30 others out on the sidewalk (not even a super hot day would stop these fans). Apparently, everything in that store was in reverse, from the music played on the albums for purchase to White and Jack Lawrence switching instruments and dressing as each other. So odd, so cool.
