The police standoff that has lasted since mid morning has yet to end outside the Federal Building in Westwood. Veteran Avenue is closed south of Wilshire Boulevard after the suspect led police on a pursuit from his Westchester neighborhood where they and the Secret Service were seeking him on a warrant for reportedly making threats against the White House.
The suspect has been identified as 56-year-old Joe Moshe by the Daily Breeze (police have no officially identified the suspect). "The guy is harmless, but once he gets off his meds he is screaming profanity," said one neighbor to the paper. "He is a sick man. Depressed," his mother added.
Update: The suspect has been arrested.

What I'm Thankful For

I think they should just crush his car and give him $3500 or $4500 ... whatever that new Obama law allows.
More of this kind of stuff ("I'll blow blank b+tch if....") is going to happen over the comming months and years across USA until the people beg the government for protection from the crazies.
This is a preview of what will come.
Hmmmm... I wonder who 'snurgy' is working for.
If the police sent that scary Transformers thing anywhere near me I would give myself up. I mean, maybe they invented one that crushes your head or punches you in the balls, you never know.
