LAist Goes Shopping: Loyal Army

A few months ago the very cute sign for Loyal Army went up next to Kidrobot on Melrose. The white clouds with smiley faces promised some fun shopping. LAist went to check it out and found the adorableness inside.

Walking into Loyal Army the first shirt that greeted us was a pink milkshake with a "Shake it Don't Break It' and one with a stack of pancakes declaring, "I'm a Hot Mess." The store is filled with tote-bags, wallets, and clothes for kids and dogs. A clever series of shirts depict periodic tables for music, hip hop and texting. With loads of super cute and ironic slogans, shopping at Loyal Army is an entertaining experience.

Loyal Army's flagship store is on Haight Street in San Francisco. Their new Los Angeles location has Kidrobot next door and Tarnina Tarantino, Johnny Cupcakes, and soon the new Tokidoki store across the street. Melrose, West of Fairfax is quickly becoming a pop culture shopping destination.

Loyal Army is located at 7970 1/2 Melrose Avenue.
