Now in its second year, the Sunset Strip Music Festival in West Hollywood announced yesterday that the event has evolved from a series of concerts in nearby venues to a full on street festival with two stages in addition to the strip's indoor venues.

"The street fest is part music festival, part club experience and part celebration of The Sunset Strip," says The Roxy Theatre owner Nic Adler. "We have taken the best of The Strip and squeezed it into three blocks. More than 20 bands during the day, performances in the venues, two outdoor stages--all on the world famous Sunset Strip. It's about time."

A partial line-up has been announced and includes Chris Cornell, Pepper, Kottonmouth Kings, LMFAO, Schwayze, Shiny Toy Guns, Unwritten law, The Donnas, Fishbone, Iglu & Hartly, Living Things, The Ringers, The Pricks, Nico Stai and thenewno2. It will take place Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 12 with the street closure on the last day.
