In case you don't have a good reason to drink beer this weekend, hop along, Cassidy, to the Gene Autrey Center in Griffith Park for all the hops and barley you can drink. The admission price of $50 includes food, beverages and live entertainment including the returning Host Bil Dwyer and and an encore live performance by Blackstone Heist. The 21 and over event runs from 3pm to 7pm Saturday, and cabs will be on site in case you have more than a taste and get overhydrated.

Participating microbreweries and brewpubs like Angel City Brewing, Stone Brewery, Sierra Nevada, Pyramid, Karl Strauss, and Mendocino Brewing will be offering tastings. Delicious food will be provided by BJ's Brewhouse, Stonefire Grill, Bon Appetit at the Getty, 'We Bring It To You" Gourmet Catering, and "Everybody's Nuts!" Pistachios.

For designated drivers and teatotalers, there is definitely more than tea. Non-alcoholic beverages include Honest (not just tea anymore), Pom Wonderful, and State of Mind Water. (Caution, the Woodchuck and Wyder's Cider are hard).

Tickets will not be sale on-site and must be purchased beforehand. Online ticket sales end Thursday, July 23rd at midnight. Please call the office directly on Friday to check for availability. Tickets will not be sold the day of the event. To join the others Drinking Beer for a Good Cause, go to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or call (323) 655-8525.
