Sarah Palin will step down as Governor of Alaska on July 26 and next month she's headed to Simi Valley to attend a gala for the Republican Women Federated of Simi Valley. The August 8th event will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library with conservative radio talk-show host and filmmaker John Ziegler as the master of ceremonies. Palin announced that she was stepping down from office for unknown reasons last week, but some are speculating it's to make room for a 2010 Presidential Bid. Nonetheless, she is saying she will be staying in the national politics scene.

parents, hold on to your babies .... just kidding :)
A 2010 presidential bid? Palin does seem a little dim, but I somehow doubt she's going to screw that one up.
lol @ stevelyon.
you give her too much credit.
A run for Prez in 2010?
Go for it Sarah!!
Just as I felt Obama had a glaring lack of experience and qualification, I would say the same about Sarah if she were to run for President.
Though I honestly don't see how she could've done any worse as Vice President than Joe "Gaffe-A-Day" Biden.
However, her "stepping down" (i.e. GOP martyrdom) from the governorship only further serves to cement her image as a political lightweight. The only reason I could excuse such a thing would be for personal medical or family related reasons. Personally, my hunch says it just might be the former. Guess we'll all have to wait and see how this plays out.
IMO, Mitt Romney now stands as the only qualified GOP candidate for 2012.
If she wins I'm moving out of the US.
Yet don't forget, in the modern age people seem to equate hubris soaked inarticulate monstrishness with being a "genuine straight-talker".
Or something.
Yikes.
dear god, if you exist, you will kill this bitch asap.
I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin. I look forward to seeing her as President of the United States.
