@Villaraigosa is Back in Town. What Did the Mayor Miss?

If you follow (the person who ghost-tweets for?) the Mayor of L.A. on Twitter, you may have noticed, as LA Observed did, that he was happy to be at home after his vacation in Africa. "Good to be back in LA!" he remarked.

While he was gone, Antonio Villaraigosa missed the mega-memorial that brought in some mad tourism cash, some LAPD overtime, and some raised eyebrows--although there were still a few Twitter-style peeps during the break about his office's fundraising efforts to help the cause.

But... did Villaraigosa miss his new Miss, aka KTLA's Lu Parker? Or was she with him? Well, there's no official word, but, if you trust your Tweets (and noticed she was absent from our airwaves) Parker was tickled to have "Met Dr. Jane Goodall" last week. Where might someone meet Goodall? Hmmm, perhaps at the Jane Goodall institute. In Africa. Ahem.

(BTW, the "Myr"'s Press Sec'y, Matt Szabo, denies that Villaraigosa doesn't, err, Tweet himself.)
