Due to Billy Mays death, perhaps the series finale of Discovery's "Pitchmen" airs tonight at 10:00pm
Bravo has renewed "Real Housewives of New York" for a third season - also, if you know of any insufferable New York housewives, send them to the casting call.
---
Comedy Central has stepped up to take the first syndication rights to "30 Rock", episodes will start airing in 2011.
---
Tour de France coverage: In offline discussions with readers and friends, the subject of Versus' TdF coverage has come up repeatedly with some people enjoying and appreciating the evening edition with others appreciating the classic live commentary of Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwin. The prevailing opinion is, however, that Versus throws too many gimmicks at the evening edition - tone it down boys, and stick to the cyclists on the road.

Had it not been for "Pitchmen" I probably wouldn't have given Billy Mays death a second thought, but despite his clear success I can't help but have liked what I saw of him. Then there's the fact that I admire, even if a lot of what they sell is junk, the spirit behind those "must have" inventions Billy and Sully hawk.

BingosDingo, thanks for your comment. "Pitchmen" seemed like a whole new beginning for Mays. I've heard many other people say something very similar to what you wrote - they never cared for the infomercials but they really enjoyed what they saw in that show.

Since when was Meredith Vieira considered a journalist? You forgot to add TV News to it.
