An LAFD Alert reports that a brush fire of approximately 2 acres is burning in the heavy brush near 1200 Getty Center Dr, in the Sepulveda Pass. "L.A. City Fire Department says they will need to fight this fire from the air, as the area is inaccessible," according to abc7, who are also live streaming video-only (no audio) coverage of the fire.
UPDATE, 4 p.m.: The fire has grown and the Getty and Mount St. Mary's College has been evacuated. More details and updates can be found by following this link.
*UPDATE: The fire has now prompted the evacuation of the Getty Center, according to cbs2. There are about 800 employees in addition to an unknown number of visitors to the world class museum, gardens, and research facility.
