Where to Watch the Fireworks Tonight in Los Angeles County

View 4th of July 2009: Fireworks in a larger map

Remember it's illegal (not to mention annoying and kind of stupid) to light your own fireworks in Los Angeles, but if you want to see pretty sparkles in the sky and some serious flag waving, here are the public and professional fireworks shows happening when the sun goes down on this Fourth of July. Some even have stuff to hang around and do before the pyrotechnics, too.

Have fun, and be safe!

The Westside is so bereft!

Well there is fireworks @ Culver City High 4401 Elenda Street. the Fireworks Start @ 9. But another option is to head up to the new Baldwin hills Scenic Overlook off Jefferson Blvd which has 360 degree views of the basin and you could see a lot of shows from there. But they might close @ sunset

Don't forget San Pedro...fireworks at Cabrillo Beach tonight! http://www.cabrillobeachbathhouse.org/
