Dwell on Design officially started today with design, architecture and other industry folks visiting the convention center today. Come tomorrow and Sunday the public will be attending the large event full of booths, speaking events (read LAist's picks here) and a great mobile food event tomorrow evening at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.

Above is a quick look at the convention floor where one can explore and go into reverie about their ideal interior design. Our favorite is picture three, a vertical garden that can be used indoors (if you have enough natural light coming through) and outdoors. Just imagine a city with vertical gardens everywhere you walk.

Tickets start at $25, but there are many options to go with. If you're a full-time college student, lucky you, it's free.
