Michael Jackson, reportedly suffering from a heart attack, was rushed to a local hospital from his Holmby Hills rental estate during the twelve noon hour today.
When paramedics arrived around 12:26 p.m., the 50-year-old pop star was not breathing, reported the LA Times. "The call came in because a person was not breathing," said an LAFD official. "When the team arrived, they saw that CPR was already in progress by someone at the home. The person not breathing was transported to UCLA Medical Center and remains there." He was taken to UCLA Medical Center just a few minutes away from the home.
Jackson has been preparing for 50 sold-out concerts in London scheduled between July 13, 2009 and March 6, 2010.
UPDATES
3:20 p.m.: LA Times says Michael has been pronounced dead, sources confirm. KTLA emphasizes that hospital sources have not officially announced this to the press, but says the information comes from "multiple sources," including the LA Times.
3:10 p.m.: LA Times says he's in a coma, per a law enforcement source.
2:40 p.m.: TMZ reports that Michael Jackson has died, but doesn't cite any sources for that information.

Not believing anything until I read it from a legitimate news source, but http://is.gd/1dsve
:(
I saw that, too, but am weary until that is confirmed. Let's hope that website is wrong, for Michael's sake.
My office is buzzing about that right now too, but CNN breaking news is just reporting that he was rushed to UCLA medical center. That's all for now.
http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/06/25/michael.jackson/index.html
Now Farrah fawcett knows how Darby Crash feels.
E! reported it, too.
Reuters is reporting Jackson passed away, but CNN and AP are still mum, except to say he's in cardiac arrest and his family says he's not doing well.
Oh wait, Reuters is pulling it from TMZ. So much for journalism.
Anyone who uses TMZ as a "source" are morons...
LA Times now reporting he's dead:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/06/pop-star-michael-jackson-was-rushed-to-a-hospital-this-afternoon-by-los-angeles-fire-department-paramedics--capt-steve-ruda.html
And soon I will actually have to stop all this and get some work done...
Farrah was sad, but expected. This is just tragic.
Also, LA Times is saying their source is "City and law enforcement officials."
"Anyone who uses TMZ as a "source" are morons..."
TMZ was right. Everybody is reporting that he's dead.
I wouldn't be surprised if TMZ's confidential sources are employees at UCLA medical center who are being paid off. They really do seem to have people everywhere.
Still, it's not worth scooping a story if you're wrong. That is, if you're a legitimate news source. You'd worry about losing credibility. Something tells me that's not a worry TMZ has.
The "credible" news agencies use Twitter to report on Tehran. The "credible" news agencies put on bozos who claim to be an official guy so he can scream "BABABOOEY HOWARD STERN'S PENIS BABABOOEY!!!"
Well, there this will cretainly dominate the news tonight.
RIP Michael, you've finally escaped the paparazi.
So that's the reason for all the helicopters and police patrols in Westwood
MJ broke the internet and stole Farrah's thunder. What an asshole.

Anyone heard any good jokes lately??
