Charlie's Angels darling, Farrah Fawcett, died this morning at 9:28 a.m. at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica where she had returned "for treatment of complications from anal cancer, first diagnosed three years ago," according to People Magazine. She was 62 years old. Her spokesperson is saying the cause of death is the cancer. Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart were at her bedside as she passed away, reported TMZ. A multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, she had become pop culture figure and sex symbol after her role on Charlie's Angels when it began airing in 1976. You will be sorely missed, Farrah Fawcett, sorely missed. RIP.

RIP.
So sad.
Condolences to Ryan and Redmond O'Neal. I hope they were able to make peace with her expected, if untimely, death. It still doesn't make it easy, though. At least she's not in pain anymore.
As of 11:10am, there are four "likes" on this story. This seems weird to me. Does that mean people like that she died? They like that you've written this up? Or they liked Farrah? Quite a mystery.
I know, these kinds of things always confuse me. Ostensibly it means the post, as in, "thanks for the tribute, Zach," but it could be taken either way. That's why I told my boyfriend not to clap as the Prop-8 protest parade was going by. I said, "Shh! They might think you're cheering FOR the gay marriage ban!"
I think there are various intentions on why one may press the "like" button. For us, it's a good indicator of "hey, LAist, please provide more posts like this, this was useful."
Hopefully, we won't have to do too many obituaries. I think on this post specifically, it was liked because Farrah was well liked by many of her fans.
I have never posted anything on any web site before,,but the death of Farrah, has touched me so much. I just want to say God Bless her family, and that I believe her documentary, which I watched, was and is going to be so helpful to other people who suffer from cancer. She was a Queen in my eyes..
Very sad. ; [
I have to praise her for fighting her battle & keeping such a positive outlook on her situation. Her documentary proved how much she loved life & I'm so saddened by her loss...she was a beautiful woman inside & out....I think every guy in America had that famous poster with her posing with the American flag in her red bathing suit..as teenagers we all wanted her hair cut..she was a part of my teen year..Farrah, now your one of God's angels..rest in peace, and we pray for you and those who's lives you have touched.
Farrah should be remembered for her beauty and courage. Is there much else? MJ died on the same day. Too bad, a devil is gone, but an angel lives to eternity.
Rest in Peace Farrah, you certainly deserve it.
Loved Farrah, My friends and I had her haircut, I'm sorry she's gone.Thoughts and prayers to her family,
friends and fans.
GO ANGELS
