Musso and Frank's. It was good enough for Nathaniel West and Faulkner. Besides, who doesn't love a little kitsch? After the concert, I'd hit up the Bourgeois Pig on Franklin to sip some tea in their fake camp site and to play a little pool (I'm assuming that Third Eye Blind brings out everyone's inner-"bro").

mea culpa! I spelled Nathanael incorrectly. Hope that doesn't disqualify me.

The Buggy Whip. Just because it looks like they still believe it is 1973. Damn good steaks too.

-G.

i would hit up Crane's Tavern after the show, for SURE! Ill be craving beer and more music, both of which can be fully satisfied at Crane's. Thats a win!

I would have to say that I'd probably head to Birds on Franklin. Their chicken is soooo good....

Plus, full bar!

I would hit up Citizen Smith, or just go by the Hotel Cafe and have an Anchor Steam and see who ever's playing the stage at midnight.

I've always wanted to go to The Waffle- perfect dessert spot to check out after the show!

the bowery at sunset and vine. walking distance and their sliders are delicioso.

I would definately go to Magnolia, I dream about their organic vegetable plate with tofu. And its walking distance so that means hitting 2 birds with one stone on the parking sitch.

I'll go with Big Wang's before the show...it's a dive and a half but they've got cheap beer, sports on tv, and Big Buck Hunter, which is just about what I need before some good '90s rock.

The Bowery...reminds me of NYC

Soul Hollywood, always confuse their name with Blind Melon Chitlin (not a fan)

I've never been to the Waffle or Kitchen 24, and I've been hankering to try both. I'd toss a coin.

I would love to check out Marouch before the show. I really don't make it to Hollywood as much as I would like, and I've wanted to try their quail dish for awhile.

I'd grab a cheeseburger made with grass-fed beef from O! burger before the show. I guess that's in WeHo, does that still count? I've also been wanting to try Sushi Ike.

THE HUNGRY CAT! ARE YOU KIDDING?! LITERALLY THE BEST DAMN BURGER ON THIS PLANET THAT WE LIVE ON. THIS BURGER WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! How can you go wrong with Angeleno magazine's choice for restaurant of the year! Go there, get the pug burger and their greyhound. Have a life changing experience! CRAZY!

Swingers is a must after every concert.

Stuffed grilled cheese, vegan nachos (w/ soyrizo), and a hardcore soy shake.

Pre-show: La Floridita
Post-show: Jumbo's Clown Room

First of all, I AM SO OBSESSED WITH 3EB. However, my current job situation has forced me(thus far) to ignore this concert. Rent, unfortunately, has to come first.
Second, LOTERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am also obsessed with Loteria potato taquitos. Those plus 3EB (and maaaaaaybe just one little Loteria kicks-your-ass margarita)= potential orgasmic evening.
Pick me? Please?

I'd go to The Well for a drink before the show then Toi after for some great thai food.

I would eat the the old, classic, Musso and Frank's, since I am also an old classic (and would take my daughter to the concert).

Definitely Citizen Smith. I've been there for snacks and drinks before, but never a full dinner. Perhaps a recession margarita afterwards at Velvet Margarita?

I'm a huge fan of Birds on Franklin for a pre-show dinner and drink. Afterwards I would make my way to the Cahuenga bars like Beauty Bar.

Turkey, Bacon, Ranch "Market Fresh" sandwich with a side of curly fries from Arby's! Helllllloooooooo horsey sauce!

Probably Big Wangs. Had a great time there last weekend: a guy puked an inch away from my jacket and purse, we sang with ketchup bottles as microphones, and invented a signature move for Rhianna's "Umbrella"

Our Night at Big Wangs

Oh and food wise we have been dying to go to The Golden State but I don't know if that is technically "Hollywood"

nothing caps off a good concert like some drinks and a waffle sundae at The Waffle.

Post show would be Loteria - mmm margaritas!

did i miss something? are there really 32 people trying to win third eye blind tickets? they're playing the palladium? goes to show what i know....

You know, ideally, (if this concert was held in the deep south), I would hit up a round of The Waffle House. Because I was a frequent trash eater when I used to listen to Third Eye Blind. But, in this day in age, I've changed my tune. I'd probably end up at Musso and Franks. I'd wear a tie and converse (and I'm a girl).

No questions asked, I would go to Jumbo's Clown Room

the well. hands up. hands down.

I would go to Bossa Nova before going to the show, gotta love fried plantains!

TRULY VEGAN... best vegan food in Hollywood... But to be more ROCK-n-ROLL, and to get chow AFTER the show, I would get the "No-Huevos" Rancherous at the 101 Coffee Shop!

user-pic

I know it was your suggestion, but I was already thinking it: Lucky Devil's. The best friggin burger in LA. And, hell, its run by Lucky Vanous -- the Diet Coke guy! And what did I do with myself for most of the 1990s? I drank Diet Coke (sometimes complimented by my friend Captain Morgan) and listened to Third Eye Blind.

For one night I'd love to relive the '90s. Minus the acne.

Before: 25 Degrees at Hotel Roosevelt--so rock n roll. After: The Waffle!

Before - Cheebo, After - The Beauty Bar.

YEAH! Happy that this band is back!

Pre-show - Hit the happy hour at Coach & Horses and have Indian food delivered to my table from the restaurant next door, then Kitchen 24 after the show.

Bossa Nova before for some really good brazillian bbq

I would have to do Palms Thai for dinner before the show; great food and nothing gets you prepped for a live show like some Thai Elvis!

Since it's a Thursday night, I'd hit Birds for late night happy hour after the concert has wrapped. This sounds perfect...

start off at house. drink several beers there, while watching sunset from roof. walk (not drive because that would be stupid...and illegal) down to Magnolia. no, actually Faviolus. Magnolia is great, but doesn't quite fit the 3EB evening. actually, screw that too. walk directly to BluePalms Brewhouse (yeah, that works). and eat there. drink more there too. then continue on down the way to the Paladium for the concert. but wait a minute, we got there too early. that's fine, we'll slip into the Well and have one last drink there. head over and wait in the seemingly long line that's formed because we decided to get that last drink in the Well. go into concert. relive old memories. realize that 3EB is still awesome and then wonder why they haven't come out with a new album in years (yet also appreciate that fact at the same time). finish concert, then head to Bird's and meet up w/ the person above me because he/she had a really good call w/ the Bird's Thursday night happy hour thing. go home. pass out. have miserable day at work the next day, w/ the only thing keeping you afloat is the sweet sounds of 3EB. and...scene

village pizzeria. cat & fiddle.

village pizzeria. cat & fiddle.

velvet margarita for cheap marg's, classy spanish cover of penny lane & a veggie quesadilla before... and cans of pbr @ BIRDS after.

i would go stefano's pizza before hand and then kitchen 24 after. gimmy those tickets!

phillipe's before the show. busby's after.

I'd go to Toi on Sunset Blvd. Superb Thai food and a wonderful rockin' atmosphere!

Before I even heard about this show, I had a trip planned to LA and I couldn't have been happier to find out that 3eb will be playing while I'm there! For me, this trip is about visiting all of the places I frequented when I lived there, and that I will frequent when I move back.

Definitely have to start with In-n-Out as a pregame, and then head to the Sunset strip to continue the party after the show with a few drinks and a similar atmosphere! It's been a few years since I've been in the Viper Room, and I feel like it would be a great way to finish the night off.

Thanks for the consideration!

I love Thai, so I'll also go with Toi.

I would have to eat at El Tepeyac before the show. I challenge you to find a better burrito on the plantet! I've only been to L.A. once, but I will never forget eating there. Best burrito I've ever had!

ROSCOE'S CHICKEN AND WAFFLES :)

This concert would be awesome, I would want to try Sushi Roku or Drago Ristorante as I love sushi and Italian food.

I would definitely go to Toi on Sunset

Hmmm... lets see...before the concert I would hit up my fave place The Velvet Margarita. I just love the vibe there and always have fun! after the concert i would probably hit up The Bar on Sunset and Bronson. Its always a great crowd!!!

I love going to Canters on Fairfax before or after a show. The atmosphere reminds me of old school rock n roll with their clippings of Circus and Rolling Stones on the wall, and the food is really good!

Pho cafe is a really good spot for those who like Vietnamese food. It's affordable and trendy with a retro kind of look. It's super lively and fun, and I recommend it. Its address is 2481 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles. It would be a great before or after spot for the show.

Since I would have to come from San Diego, I would stop at HOB for drinks (Because I know where it is) then go to the show. They have great food and booze!

I think i would go to the Waffle House. It would make a great addition to the concert =D

How's it gonna be???, well if i was not Blinded with emotion, i'd say i'd look into my Crystal Baller to look into the future, i'd say we'll go to the Standard & i'd Never Let You go...........................

I would go to Sushi Roku or Drago Ristorante as I love Italian food and Sushi.

Swingers before, definitely for some vegan nachos and Red Lion Tavern after for great beer and patio :)

I would go ANYWHERE!!! I like all types of food, and have never really been to california! :) Sorry, I'm not familiar with specific restaurants, but any would do!!! :)

I would go anywhere! I like all types of food and am unfamiliar with California's restaurants

I would most likely drink a little in my dorm. Nothing says 3EB like a cheap bottle of Vodka for a poor student. After the show, go to Alberto's mexican food. As a native of San Diego, Mexican food and 3EB go hand in hand.

I would recommend California Vegan to non meat eaters and meat eaters a like. It's a funny little restaurant but the food is outstanding. You must go before the show because I believe they close at 9pm. I would suggest trying the ginger "chicken", western burger, or any curry on their menu!

Pinks Hot Dogs of course! Mmmmm, Bacon Burrito Dog followed by a high energy 3EB show to work it off!

Before the show, probably Musso & Frank's. If after the show, definitely Toi.

i love waffles[& 3eb] so hands down..the waffle house

*I Never Felt Alone, Til I Met You

Well first before the show I would go to CPK or something alongs the line of that. After the show possibly korean bbq cause they're open 24/7!!

Whisky a Go Go...definitly

i would go to mulberry pizza street and get a huge pizza and beer before the show

i would go to mulberry pizza street and get a huge pizza and beer before the show

i'd love to go to the edison.... before or after for drinks... i love you guys!!!!

How's it gonna be???, well if i was not Blinded with emotion, i'd say i'd look into my Crystal Baller to look into the future, i'd say we'll go to the Standard & i'd Never Let You go...........................

Cat N' Fiddle! Outdoor seating ftw! I wanna take all my friends there after the show and get some beers.

Definitely Hollywood In'n'Out before the show. Who knows where we'll end up for snacks and drinks after.

After a whole week of aticipation, my boyfriend and I want to stop by BOSSA NOVAS to fill up on their famous BBQ Chicken Salad & some Fried Plantains, and then head over to experience an excellent evening of 3EB.

Before and after to The Beauty Bar.

Cant go wrong with the Saddle Ranch

I WOULD SAY LUCKY STRIKE LANES...
SO MANY GREAT CHOICES OUT THERE, CLASSIC AND NEW, BUT LUCKY STRIKES IS CONVENIENT...
THERE IS PARKING, BOWLING, FOOD, DRINKS, AND LOTS OF FUN!!!!

i would totally go to Lucky Devil's!

~chris

I will have to second the Cat & the Fiddle...great place, and I can take my dog which is a huge plus. I hate leaving him at home sometimes ;\

another bonus, Ive never had to deal with the obnoxious lines which are mostly synonymous with hollywood places.

3EB ftw!

-brandon

I am going to the Dresden...an old favorite of mine for some Irish Car Bombs and general pregame action. 3EB rocks and the Dresden is where I'm rolling.

-Matt

Taste!! or... late late night Pink's Hot Dogs, for SURE!

TOMMY'S !! EAGLE ROCK, of course!! it's tradition. This would be a dream come tru boys. I'm posting this comment drunk as hell.... nothin beats these chili burgers! OMG just found out u guys will b in L.A. ;;;;;;; HOW COULD I HAVE NOT KNOWN!!! you guys have been a force in my life since high school, SHAME ON ME!!!! I found out about u guys playin the Hollywood Palladium exactly 24 hrs ago, and I have been on a mission ever since, FREE tickets or NO, I WILL BE THERE !!!!

Bowery Bar for a burger!

id get pinks before the concert... work the calories off at the show. then afterwards, id head up to southbay... hermosa. lighthouse or malloys or if its early enuff, shore. it dont get any closer to the beach than that. and in the tide, all the pretention that is LA seems to fade away...

Crane's Hollywood Tavern

Crane's Hollywood Tavern

Eat at California Vegan! Lots of tasty options :) and it's only about a mile and a half from the Palladium! Enjoy!

"The Frolic Room" on Hollywood & Vine. definitely AFTER the show... ;)

My new favorite is Kitchen 24. Everything I've had there so far is good and the bloody marys are amazing!

Bossa Nova would be perfect before and after - great food and great drinks!!

I'm gonna go with Loteria or Kitchen 24. But if 3eb is gonna be there, doesn't really matter!

I'd hit up the Sky Bar, get denied, then try for the Tropicana Bar, STK, and Chateau Marmont in that order.

After that, I'd latch myself underneath 3eb's tour bus and hope they don't hit any bumps.

I would go to the Spanish Kitchen for sure. They have a great atmosphere, amazing food, and awesome service. It's by far, the best food I have ever had out in the LA/Hollywood area.

user-pic

L Scorpion, mispelled it before

The Beauty Bar ! So I could look good for Stephan ;)

Barney's on Santa Monica Blvd. Before for dinner and after the show for some drinks and pool. So many great stories about Barney's - great rock n' roll dive.

Luna Park on La Brea. MMmmm

Luna Park on La Brea. MMmmm

Skooby's on Hollywood. Nothing goes with 3eb bliss like a pile of great fries dipped in aioli, a garlic dog smothered in grilled onions, and a huge glass of fresh lemonade.

It has to be Astro Burger. Two words: Pineapple Milkshakes!

I'd say Astro Burger too, that pineapple milkshake sounds good... btw, 3EB is awesome!!! please, please, please play the tunes from the self titled album and blue!!!

La Cantina for margaritas before the show,
Boardners after the show for a nightcap.

i would defintely hit up the room and big wangs!

For Pre-3eb or Post-3eb I would probably hit up Big Wangs...especially if the concert is on a Wednesday. Every Wednesday night they have $.25 wings and $2.50 beers-of-the-hour, which they spin a beer wheel to see what beer will be the special of the hour. Always a good hang out with a cheap bill...and comfy couches. =) Not to mention that the Family Guy Pinball game is pretty legit too!

Who cares! Just give ME the damn tickets :o)

I'm gonna have to say Musso and Frank's. I'll have some squab and a gimlet in honor of Raymond Chandler.

House of Pies for some post-concert sweets.

The Hungry Cat, have heard great things

I would head to Village Pizzeria before hand, grab a slice or a salad. After the show, I may head to Happy Endings to discuss the set list.

I would pray to the Gods of Tweet that Kogi would be in the area... and when utterly disappointed to find they weren't, late-night Swingers would be the closest thing to consolation in my universe...

Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles...sweet, crunchy, and delicious! =)

I would definitely go to the House of Pies for some aftershow sweetness!!! They.are.so.good!

For a Thursday night, before OR after the concert...I would suggest Big Wangs. They have $3 coronas and a rockband tournament! What could be better?! (Well, winning these tickets would def. be the BEST!)

I would say Toi or astroburger

Well, i would have gone to OFF VINE, but seeing as how they haven't gotten their act back together, and since i'd be walking to the Palladium, i'd go to the FARMER'S KITCHEN.

haha

before - hungry cat for a pug burger
after - big wangs ...to get drunk haha

before, the waffle
after, the well

:)

before, the waffle
after, the well

:)

I would go to Toi on Sunset before for some Thai! That that would make for a great night! = ]

Before we step off from that ledge my friend....I'd get some fantastic munchies at Loteria Grill. Three dollar tacos! I recommend the chicken and pumpkin seed. Yum and healthy. Plus, their atmosphere's great, you can even sit out on the street and feel like you're on the Ramblas in Barcelona. Then, enjoy a great show. After, I'd hit Velvet Margarita. I love the drinks and decor there. Watching movies, too!

I would definitely go to Tommy's down the street right before the concert to get a nice healthy chili cheeseburger and then after the show get a nice light combo of chicken and waffles at Roscoe's. I have been in los angeles for 4 years at school and on Friday I am driving home to Chicago. This is my last night in the city and I would love to end it like this. Thanks.

I would want to experience the entire gamut of musical genres that evening. First I would take myself and my friend Erin to The Edison with jazz era music playing in the background as we eat an early dinner. The pinnacle of the evening would of course be the kickass 3eb concert at the Palladium. After which, we would have to end the evening with a nightcap at The Hotel Cafe listening to whatever local artists are playing at the time.

Fois Gras Biscuit & Gravy and Poutine at Animal on Fairfax. Yum.

To be perfectly honest, my anxiety/excitement level before the show would be WAY too high to even try and eat anything. Lame I know, but it's the truth. After the show I would go to the Swingers..such a Hollywood staple and they have the best post-concert food & milkshakes(or maybe a few beers.

3eb is my saving grace. Winning a ticket would mean the world to me. Thanks for reading :)

*Swingers, not 'the' Swingers :)

MALO- It's all about the Beef & Pickle tacos!

I would say 3 Clubs or El Guapo on Melrose Ave for drinks, but that might not be quite Hollywood area enough. Or the Abby for a WeHo adventure. A safe bet would be Bosa Nova since the food is amazing and their delivery boys are sometimes not so bad to look at ;)

I'd go to Dimples Karaoke Bar in Burbank, start a tab, and sing "Can I Graduate?" at the top of my lungs while wearing a viking helmet, because I failed one of my classes in the last semester of my senior year at CSUN this spring. I'm stuck taking the class over this summer with only a few weeks left.

Footnote: It's a toss up between the Flavor Flav viking helmet and a giant golf ball helmet, because they have the best props ever there. Plus, Mr. Belding from Saved By The Bell hangs out there every Thursday, so I'll probably be there even if I don't win the tickets.

Alright, well obviously Burbank isn't Hollywood, so I'm an idiot.

I'd have to change it up to The Happy Ending Bar, and just ask them to turn on the karaoke since it'd be my night for winning the tickets. Then I'd win myself a $2 lobster and have them cook it, slowly, so I can dig in after the show.

Have to go with Loteria. Have been meaning to go there for quite some time, to try the infamous margaritas!

I'd get out my old third eye blind cassette tape that I still have from middle school, Sony walkman, and jogging head phones. then head straight to universal studios in hollywood and replay "Jumper" over and over while I indoor skydive until it's time to leave for the show.

Then afterwards I'd probably a smoke cigarette inside Beauty Bar, hopefully with Stephan Jenkins.

You should definitely check out Toi on Sunset. Best Thai food in town, great atmosphere and all the history and decadence that comes with being on the strip :) Check it out!
