KCRW today officially launched three iPhone apps connecting listeners with live streams, calendars, videos and archived shows. Each cost 99-cents, which "will help offset costs for future iterations of this app and future apps," says a station spokesperson.

The main app lets you tune into the internet channels, which include the live on-air stream, and archived on-demand shows like Morning Becomes Eclectic, the Guest DJ Project, Which Way LA and the smaller format features like Martini Shot (LAist interview) and Bookworm.

The In Studio app is focused around Morning Becomes Eclectic, featuring videos, podcasts and carries the same calendar as the main app. The third focuses on Good Food with videos, podcasts, blog updates and best of all, a food calendar.

So what about a Fringe Benefits app for those of us who always forget to take advantage of the discounts? A spokesperson said they've heard listener's desires and are working on it. Stay tuned...
