Vision Street Wear Makes A Comeback

The first pair of shoes I ever picked out for myself were the Vision Street Wear classic black high-tops. They were cool, they were skateboarding, and THANK GOD they're gonna start making them again. And a whole boatload of other classic Vision shoes.

When all your loser friends are rocking retro Dunks thinking they're looking badass, being so 2005... You can stroll up in your fresh new pair of Vision Street Wear kicks ready to claim status as the numba-one-stunna'

What sucks is that there's no bring-back yet of the Airwalk Disaster series shoes, or the NTS series. I'd even settle for a pair of 540's. I know at least a dozen people who would buy the Jason Lee signature shoe if it were still in production.

The Vision shoes aren't out yet, per se... They're still scratching their chins wondering which ones they should definitely not include. (I told them, "hell no!" to the rainbow ones, we'll see...) And with a prayer and a miracle I can score me a pair of these bad boys.

It's great to see skateboarding of my generation getting the respect it deserves, and being a Los Angeleno born and raised I'm proud of my city's contributions to skateboarding history. (And skateboarding shoe history)

Grab a pair ths summer at Finishline stores!

Whatever happened to Gator?

Seriously? He's in prison. The guy raped and murdered his ex-girfriend, stuffed her in a surfboard bag and buried her in the desert.

The documentary "Gator" confirms kedward's comment in greater detail, and is interesting to watch if you're curious. Definitely worth a rental at least.

YES. I was just online a few days ago, stalking eBay for a pair of my favorites. I actually bought a retro pair (at Urban Outfitters of all places) I think about five years ago and was so f'n psyched, hoping for a resurgence in all the old styles. But since then, every season has produced pretty slim offerings. I hope this time around they go big.
