Kogi-schmogi! "One of the true great things about Los Angeles is In-N-Out Burger," endorsed Tom Hanks, when asked for tips to help the Tonight Show's Conan O'Brien acclimate to his surroundings (although this isn't O'Brien's first time as an Angeleno).
What's even better, according to the actor, is when SoCal-based burger bastion In-N-Out gets on four wheels. How good? Said Hanks: "There's an In-N-Out Burger Mobile, which—look, Batman did not have a better thing." Hey, he didn't have a "secret menu" either!

Completely different categories, of course. Now, if they could make me a short rib double double with grilled onions inside a tortilla, then we've really got something to talk about.
In 'n Out is mighty fine (esp. on a roadtrip up the 5 or 101), but (as I'm sure Conan will discover) as far as tasty hamburgers go in this town, it's only just the ground floor. A very solidly built ground floor, but still.
Valid point, but back that one up, BrainyLAGirl. Where else should the burger-craving carnivore head? Jeffrey Katzenberg used to hail the Sourdough Jack, but I imagine you've got something else in mind.
There's plenty of better burgers depending on how much you want to spend, but for the money the good 'ol double double is king, and yes I want onions!
