Today is the first day of Old Pasadena Restaurant Week, when 27 eateries in the Old Town section of Pasadena offer three-course prix fixe meals until June 8th, with 10% of the event's proceeds going to support Union Station Homeless Services.

Lunches are set at either $15 or $25, and dinners at $25 and $35. Participating restaurants confirmed are: 1810 Argentinean Restaurant, Bar Celona, Barney's LTD Grill & Pub, Brix 42 Pub & Brewery, Café Bizou, Café Santorini, Elements Kitchen, Equator, Green Street Tavern, Heritage Wine Co., Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana, Kabuki Restaurant, La Grande Orange Café, Maikobe, Malagueta Mi Piace Italian, Mojitos Restaurant & Rum Bar, Pasha Fresh, Mediterranean Grill, POP Champagne & Dessert Bar, redwhite+bluezz, Scarlet Tea Room & Fine Dining, Spitfire Saloon, Sushi Roku, Twin Palms, Vertical Wine Bistro, Villa SORRISO, and Yujean Kang's.

Menus, prices, and location information available online. Although some of these eateries are longstanding Old Town Pas spots (i.e. Il Fornaio, Twin Palms, Cafe Santorini), outposts of chains (i.e. Sushi Roku, Kabuki) hopefully some of the spots are on your must-try list for the area, or will make the trek worthwhile. Our last foodventure to Pasadena brought us to La Grande Orange, and judging by our "brinner" a visit for lunch or dinner might just be in order. Cheers to Old Pasadena and their Restaurant Week!

Old Pas Restaurant Week rocks. Spitfire Grill offered a terrific lunch for 15 bucks. The burger was deeeeee-lightful. I have never felt so filled with charity... no really, I'm stuffed. Had to bring the deserts back to the office. Just sayin'.
