Current TV's InfoMania's Ben Hoffman, the show's Tech Report guru, takes us behind the scenes at the Twittering and tastebud phenom KogiBBQ. Josh Heller, the Online Comedy Producer at Current TV, notes that Hoffman's "candor bites through the hype, and may or may not start a race war," in this segment from last week's show. Besides the high-tech hijinks of mobile food purveyance, the report delves into the tangled world of ethnic fusion foods, and the anatomical challenges of interracial dating. It's a lot to chew on, but if you don't mind laughing with your mouth full, check out this clip.

i love ben hoffman. he is the funniest thing since mitch hedberg. if y'all don't watch the tech report every week you should.
Man, I really used to like Kogi and respect all they've done with this whole taco truck rethink but all the negativity is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Case in point: http://tinyurl.com/me5tqc
How long have the lines reached and in which stops and at what time of da...oh, I see. We've reached Kogi hype(ster) threshold here and it's too much of a pain to find out the aforementioned while risking giving the anti-hypester machine more fuel to the fire.
Ben Hoffman is funny.
Current TV, however, is on my don't watch list until they come clean and start commenting on the Euna Lee / Laura Ling situation.
