Bettie Page Look-a-Like Contest This Saturday

On Saturday night, Lenora Claire invites everyone to the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery closing night party for her show Bettie Page: Heaven Bound. The night will feature signings by the artist Olivia and a Bettie Page look-a-like contest.

Lenora says, "Olivia will be signing books and calendars and there will be a Bettie look-a-like contest, judged by actor and Warhol superstar Joe Dallesandro and Project Runway & RuPaul's Drag Race designer Santino Rice. Prizes include a $200 gift certificate to the Bettie Page store."

It's the last chance to see the beautiful show as well purchase the art and merch for sale. LAist was there opening night to be part of the colorful opening night festivities. There are many pieces of art featuring the gorgeous Bettie Page as well as several inspired by her daring legacy. You won't want to miss your chance to see them.

The World of Wonder Storefront Gallery is located at 6650 Hollywood Boulevard. The closing night party is from 7:00-10:00pm.
