Yes on Prop 8's Positive Spin on 18,000 Legally Married Couples

gay_divorce.jpg In an e-mail yesterday from Protect Marriage, the official Yes on Prop 8 group, they are not too worried concerned about the 18,000 gay couples whose were marriages untouched in the state Supreme Court's ruling. Why? Cause, apparently, a lot of gays will divorce, they say: "if California goes as Massachusetts did after legalizing gay marriage, a substantial portion of the still-recognized gay marriages will be dissolved by divorce within a few years." Jeeezzz.

Before ya know it we're gonna have hetero couples divorcing, I hope the haters protest that insult to marriage too.

Ughhh, along with the straight marriages genius, that's what happens!

Yes, because the people who rushed to get married when the law went through last summer probably didn't think it through. After all, most of them were probably together for a measly decade or two and it's not like some of them had children... oh wait.

Yup. Sounds similar to those quickie Vegas marriages you regret the next day when you come to with a hang over. You know gays. They'll be "so over" marriage and onto something else by next year.

Oh yeah, because 50% of those Yes on 8 hetero marriages won't end in divorce either.

Oh, wait.

Wait, I thought these guys wanted to defend marriage. Now they're in support of Divorce? awesome. Good to know.

But once again, it's nice to see more of that good Christian love I'm apparently supposed to believe exists even though it is literally never actually verifiable.
