obama_la.png Although it won't be for official presidential business. This afternoon, Barack Obama will arrive in Los Angeles for a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Beverly Hills. There will be no public appearences and he will stay overnight. His presence is affecting private pilots, who are not being allowed to fly in or out of LAX, Hawthorne Municipal Airport, Santa Monica Airport, Burbank Airport and Van Nuys Airport from 1:05 p.m. today to 8 a.m. tomorrow. This will be his second trip to Los Angeles since he took office. The last time was while on official duty.

Ask him to swing by the capital while he's on the left coast. We could use him.

I may join the protest, though I suspect he'll ignore us just as he has since he got elected.

Expect a lot of "fierceness"!

Yes, please! I was just stuck in some craptacular traffic around SMB & Barrington around 1:30. A heads up would have been helpful.
