- A dead body was found on fire in Riverside County. A passerby reported the sight to police who are still investigating.
- Chapman University in Orange County is facing a large bill. Their student's version of the "Undie Run" has cost the the City of Orange thousands of dollars in damage and overtime for authorities.
- A controversial treatment for autism is giving desperate parents hope for their children. The testosterone-related treatment is condemned by some people and praised by others.
- A Kansas man who beat a seagull in Laguna Beach and was fined $275 is appealing. He says that he was acting in self defense when the gull swooped in and took his wife's ice cream. However witnesses say that his wife dropped the ice cream and he beat the gulls when they came to cash in on her spill.
- Finally...On the flip side. Some owls that were nursed back to health in Riverside have been released back to the wild. One of the owls was stuck in the chimney of someone's home back in March.
