- If you hear/feel a large BOOM Saturday, it (hopefully) won't be an earthquake but rather the Space Shuttle Atlantis landing. Rain in Florida has forced the shuttle to move it's landing from the Kennedy Space Center to Edwards AFB.
- Sometimes, alcohol can make guys do really stupid things...
- Twenty-five Southern California residents were charged with fraud for seeking Medi-Cal payments for clients who were actually dead.
- Notorious LA tagger "Buket" who was busted last December for causing almost $60,000 in damage, has been arrested again. Police found tagging tools and fresh "Buket" tags around Downtown and South LA.
- And it gets even better (worse?) in the Carrie Prejean saga. Apparently a woman is claiming that she had a lesbian relationship with Miss California's MOM. The relationship ended right before she competed in the Miss USA competition. Sheesh...
- Well there goes that... The plan to widen Sunset Boulevard in Brentwood has been put on hold. The protests from Brentwood residents about how adding lanes would help with traffic was heard by the City Council and the plans scrapped.
- There is a light at the end of the tunnel for Californians looking for a job. Although its only a small sign, it IS a sign. HANG IN THERE!
- Curbed LA shows how artist Philip Lumbang gets down on his painting of a mural in Silver Lake.
- Finally... From the buds over at SFist we present a "highly scientific, wildly unfair poll" on who you would like as the next Governor. Write in candidates are HIGHLY encouraged...
