The California Coast is arguable one of the most beautiful places in the world. Sitting on a cliff overlooking a gorgeous sandy beach with tide pools and surfing spots is The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, who this summer season is slicing a few hundred dollars off weekday room rates for a nice recession deal. Prices start at $199 from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but you must reserve by tomorrow to take advantage of the offer.
The hotel is also offering an even more affordable way to slow down and take a break. Their wine, chocolate and cheese tasting room, Eno, is offering several classes this summer. Each class is $35 a session.
ENO-Versity’s summer session schedule includes the following classes:
· May 29 - Santa Barbara Pinot Noirs
· June 12 - Champagne and Sparkling Wines
· June 26 - Summer Sipping Whites
· July 10 - Organic/Biodynamic Wines
· July 24 - Chocolate Tasting
· August 14 - World Class Chardonnays
· August 28 - Big Bold California Cab's
Every summer people flock to Laguna for the Pageant of the Masters. The ferry to Catalina is available from nearby Dana Point.
The Ritz-Carlton also offers a volunteer opportunity in their Giveback Getaways program. Guest spend the day fishing and donate their catch to Someone Cares Soup Kitchen.
With so much to do in Laguna and Laguna Niguel. We want to go on vacation right now.

Is that $199 a night? I couldn't stay there at all at that price, let alone -cation there.
I second that notion.
Are you kidding?
$199/nite is a bargain for The Ritz-Carlton.
Normally they can charge around $300 up to $3000/nite.
Also, this will usually include use of the fitness center and spa facilities not to mention other resort amenities.
Ah my teen years when I used to sneak into the pool there.
Thanks so much for this post. I was actually able to score a deal close to this for 2 nights this weekend! Win!
